Custom Design & Manufacturing

 

EMI specializes in the design and manufacture of custom automation, machinery and systems.

All EMI automation is completely designed, manufactured, assembled, wired, guarded and debugged at our facility to order using time-tested, top quality components from longstanding vendors. They are then put through production trials at our facility, utilizing exact client parts. Upon delivery to the client, we provide client training, complete documentation materials, lists of high wear parts, instruction manuals, follow-up service and support.

We also provide repair, restoration, consulting, and general machining and parts making for all custom automation.

Consulting

 

EMI offers consulting services backed by over 35 years of experience, on several different levels depending on your company’s needs. We have worked with dozens of clients tailoring each contract according to a projects scope, size and budget. Our personalized service is targeted to deliver results for your company, your way. Rebuild & Repair

 

Do you have older or antiquated equipment in need of repair, updating or complete rebuild? EMI offers a full spectrum of machine rebuild services. From something as simple as changing out bearings, to complete machine optimization by upgrading plcs and enhancing programs for better performance, EMI can refurbish your machine to greatly enhance its performance and output at a fraction of the cost of a new machine. In many cases we can return older, worn out machinery back to original factory specifications or better. Even if spare parts are no longer available, our extensive experience reverse engineering can re-create original components to easily solve this problem. Further enhancements EMI can perform include returning to original factory colors through painting, anodizing aluminum, black oxide steels, heat treating, chrome plating and texturing.

Machining and Parts

 

Because EMI Co. fabricates all its own custom components for automation, we also offer machining and parts making services. Our capabilities include turning, milling, grinding, drilling, CNC work and more complex wire edm, laser etch, water jet, and more.
